The Casablanca C66U11B Panama DC 54-Inch Ceiling Fan is a new spin on the original five-bladed fan. It features a larger, 54-inch blade span and the extremely powerful DC motor. That means it can accommodate a larger room with higher efficiency, and it's Energy Star qualified. A new true classic. The C66U11B can be used to complement an entry as the focal point with the clean Snow White motor and matching Matte Snow White blades, or it can be used in a bedroom for added air movement and sophisticated style. The C66U11B has a 54-Inch blade span, with a 15 Degree blade pitch, and has a six-speed DC motor which uses only 32-Watt of electricity on high speed, pushes 6416-Cubic Feet per minute and 199.3-Cubic Feet per minute per watt. This item is sold one per package and comes complete with five blades, one 3-Inch downrod, and a 6-speed DC hand-held remote control for ease of operation if higher ceilings are an issue, or if you just desire the convenience. Light kit compatible, which can be purchased separately. In any installation, the tips of the blades must be at least 18-Inch from the wall in order to provide sufficient clearance for the blades; and for safety reasons, the fan blades must be a minimum of 7-Feet above the floor.
