I'm giving this fan 4 stars because I really like the way it looks in our office ceiling but man was it a pain to install.
The fan blades have to be screwed on to the motor BEFORE you attempt to mount it on the ceiling because the screws all go in top down. Screwing them on while on the ceiling would have been a nightmare.
Installation would have been much less stressful if there was a hook to hang this on like the monte carlo fan we installed in the other room. There is no safety cable so it doesn't feel secure to me. It's installed well, but I don't have the kind of peace of mind I have with the other fan.
Still tho, the good thing is you only have to install it once.
