I had purchased this fan from Lowe's in 2009 (under the brand of Harbor Breeze) and installed it in my living room. Over time I decided to replace the light fixture in the dining area with the same fan and was informed that it was discontinued. I was very excited to find this fan - now under Westinghouse name - from Amazon. I am a 65 yo female and installed the fan myself so I would say it is easy to put together and the instructions are very straight-forward. The only difference I have noted is on the highest speed it can be a bit louder than my other one, but it settles down after about 2 minutes. I may just have to weigh the blades, just have not done it yet. Overall, I think it is very sleek, modern looking fan it is a good price.

The fan provides airflow at up to 4,662 cubic feet per minute (cfm) at its highest speed. It is rated to operate at 57 watts at high speed (without the lighting on), which gives it an airflow efficiency rating of 82 cfm per watt. (As a comparison, 36-inch to 48-inch ceiling fans have airflow efficiencies ranging from approximately 71 to 86 cfm per watt at high speed.
Designed for rooms up to 144 square feet (12 by 12 feet), the Elite utilizes a 153-by-17-millimeter silicon steel motor with triple capacitor for powerful, quiet air circulation. The Elite's lighting comes from three brushed nickel spotlights that each use GU10-base 50-watt MR16 halogen bulbs (three included), and the lights can be removed if you just want to utilize the fan.
